Secrets AI review: features, costs, memory and alternatives

Quick buying verdict

Best research fit: Editable companion features with an unusually explicit Moments price list. Secrets publishes a wiki for media and payments. Its listed unit prices include 50 Moments per image, 600 per video, 100 per minute of audio call and 500 to create a custom character. The provider describes purchased Moments as non-expiring, while monthly subscription grants reset and do not roll over. The product also documents memory and higher-tier persona controls, so it is more than a static media generator.

What the provider actually documents

A realistic first-session walkthrough

Plan one month in units rather than only dollars. Ten images, two videos, fifteen minutes of calling and one character would consume 500 + 1,200 + 1,500 + 500 = 3,700 Moments at the published rates. That is a worked example, not a purchased test. If your tier includes 8,000 monthly Moments, it would fit; if it includes only 1,000, it would not. Review the date of the wiki and the actual grant at purchase.

Subscription, credits and true cost

Think carefully before paying extra for a large monthly grant you may not use. A user making a few images could be better served by a smaller plan plus separately purchased Moments, while a frequent caller could consume thousands of Moments. Compare the monthly grant, non-expiring purchased balance and effective renewal price separately; they are not interchangeable.

Use the total-cost calculator when checking your own current checkout. Published rates are dated snapshots, not binding quotes.

How it compares with nearby alternatives

Secrets competes with Nomi on ongoing companion interaction but differs through its explicit purchasable media budget. Nectar also offers memory controls, though it uses a different model-and-memory charge structure. The presence of editable memories is not independent proof of recall accuracy.

Four checks before you pay

1. Find the balance breakdown for purchased versus subscription Moments.
2. Recalculate your intended weekly calls from the published per-minute rate.
3. Create a fictional memory and verify available memory-editing settings.
4. Check the current conditions for making custom characters private or public.

Important unknowns

We did not independently test conversation quality, image quality, security or factual memory retrieval. Feature descriptions come from first-party sources, not affiliate marketing screenshots. If a necessary capability is absent from official documentation, it is not graded as a failure or counted as confirmed.

Frequently asked questions

Do monthly Secrets Moments roll over?

The official wiki says no: unused monthly grant Moments are replaced at renewal; purchased Moments do not expire.

How much is a 20-minute call?

The cited 100-Moments-per-minute wiki rate implies 2,000 Moments, before any other charges.
