About Companion Fieldbook
Independent product research for people choosing an AI companion.
Independent research ✧ Source-linked feature claims ✧ No fabricated hands-on tests
Companion Fieldbook is an independent editorial guide to choosing AI companion software. We prioritize user questions that have practical consequences: will the product remember important things, what will it cost to use in ordinary life, what happens to personal data, and does voice work the way the buyer expects?
What makes our approach different
Instead of hundreds of near-duplicate “best AI girlfriend” pages, we concentrate on a narrow set of decision topics and disclose evidence limitations. Provider documentation is useful but not identical to first-hand testing. We explain that distinction on every research review.
Who is behind the website?
This is a solo-operated independent editorial publication. The publisher can add the legal owner identity and contact details in WordPress. We do not invent editorial employees, medical qualifications or researchers we do not employ.
How we earn money
Our business model may include affiliate commissions when readers choose to visit a provider through designated links. We do not accept that as proof that a service is suitable. Read our affiliate disclosure and our methodology.
